“Miles on It” is a rare record that topped a country radio chart and a dance chart. Marshmello, the masked electronic producer, built the track; Kane Brown, one of country’s biggest names, sang it. Released in May 2024, it gave Marshmello his first top-20 Hot 100 hit since 2021.
A second meeting
The pair had worked together before, on “One Thing Right” in 2019. Five years later, “Miles on It” brought them back. Marshmello produced it and shares the writing credit with Brown, Castle, Connor and Riley McDonough, Earwulf, Jake Torrey and Digital Farm Animals. It runs just 2:50 and is filed as country pop.

Two charts at once
In its first week, “Miles on It” entered the top five of both Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and Hot Country Songs. On Country Airplay it debuted at No. 30 in May and reached No. 1 in the week ending 2 November 2024: Marshmello’s first No. 1 on that chart and Brown’s twelfth.
It peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 4 on Hot Country Songs, and topped Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, where it finished No. 2 on the 2024 year-end list and No. 1 for 2025. Abroad it reached No. 10 in Canada, No. 4 on the Dutch Top 40, No. 13 in Flanders and No. 44 in the UK.
It also lasted. On the 2024 year-end charts it placed No. 34 on the Hot 100, No. 22 in Canada and No. 17 in the Netherlands, and it was still on the 2025 year-end lists in the US, Canada, Australia and Belgium.
Certifications and video
The RIAA has certified the single 4× Platinum and Music Canada 3× Platinum. It also went Platinum in Australia and Gold in the UK, Belgium and New Zealand. The video, directed by Alex Alvga, premiered on 28 May 2024.
A dance producer on country radio
For dance music, “Miles on It” shows how far a producer’s sound can travel outside the club.
