Maddix
From big room on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings to his own techno-rave label: how Eindhoven’s Maddix climbed DJ Mag’s Top 100 in three years.
- Dutch DJ and producer Pablo Rindt, born 3 December 1990 in Eindhoven.
- Came up on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, then moved to his own label, Extatic Records.
- Entered DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs at No. 95 in 2023 and reached No. 53 in 2025.
Maddix spent most of the 2010s as a big room producer on Hardwell’s label, then rebuilt his sound around rave and techno. The change paid off: in three years he went from outside DJ Mag’s Top 100 to No. 53, and 1001Tracklists ranked him the 11th most-played producer of 2023.
Eindhoven and Revealed
Pablo Rindt grew up in Eindhoven and got into dance music, and the software FL Studio, in high school. His first releases came out in 2014 on Cryon and Oxygen Recordings. From 2015 he released regularly on Revealed Recordings, the label founded by Hardwell: “Riptide”, “Ghosts”, “Invictus” with Olly James, “Bang” with KEVU. In 2017 he and Hardwell put out “Smash This Beat”, followed in 2018 by a cover of “Bella Ciao”.
New partners, harder sound
Through the late 2010s he worked across the festival scene: “The Prophecy” with Timmy Trumpet in 2018, “People Are Strange” and “Future Noise” with KAAZE in 2019. By the early 2020s his titles told a different story — “Tekno”, “Technology”, “Acid Soul” — and his sound moved towards techno and rave, still with big room and trance in the mix. In 2023 he made “Hypnotizing” with Umek for the 1605 label and “Acid” with Hardwell and Luciana.
Extatic and the classics
By 2023 Maddix was releasing on his own label, Extatic Records. Many of its records rework dance history: “Open Sesame (Abracadabra)” with Leila K, “Adrenalina (Minha Gasolina)”, “I’m From Holland”, “Hellfire” with Gabry Ponte. The best-known came in 2024, when he joined Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Da Hool for a new version of “Meet Her at the Love Parade”, featuring Kiki Solvej.
The rankings
The numbers followed the music. Maddix entered DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs at No. 95 in 2023, rose to No. 69 in 2024 and to No. 53 in 2025. On 1001Tracklists’ producer chart he jumped from No. 63 in 2022 to No. 11 in 2023. In 2025 he also released “Late at Night” with Lilly Palmer and “Girls Go Freak” with Reinier Zonneveld and Sarah de Warren on Filth on Acid.
His records are main-stage tools: hard kicks, acid lines and hooks borrowed from the 1990s and 2000s, built for the last hours of a festival night.
