Junior Caldera, from rock to clubs
Junior Caldera is Jérôme Dumas, a Paris DJ who studied saxophone, guitar and bass at a conservatory and played rock before switching to house in 2002, while working as a stage designer in Paris nightclubs. DJ Master Seb mentored him and found him a first residency at the D! Club in Lausanne. In 2003 he won a mixing contest and opened for David Guetta; in 2007 his track “Sexy” reached the top five of the French club charts.
His debut album, Début, came out on 18 May 2009. Its singles included “Sleeping Satellite”, “The Way” and “What You Get”, which reached No. 14 in France.
