Cuebrick is a German DJ and producer from Mannheim who built a mainstage career the slow way: club dates, festival slots and a steady run of releases on the big EDM labels. In 2022 that work put him in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs for the first time.

From Mannheim to the German dance charts

His agency describes him as raised on progressive house. The first real break came in 2014 with “Watch Out”, a collaboration with The Disco Boys, the Hamburg house duo of Raphael Krickow and Gordon Hollenga. According to his DJ Mag profile, the track held No. 1 on the German dance charts for seven weeks. It made his name at home before most international crowds had heard of him.

Labels and collaborations

Since then Cuebrick has released on most of the labels that shape mainstage dance music: Spinnin’ Records, Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, Smash The House, Enhanced, Ultra and Armada, with remixes on several of them. His collaborations include “Iceland (Viking Clap)” with Tritonal, which was played on Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance radio show, and “Squid Play” with Blasterjaxx. His biography also highlights “At Night”, a track backed by Hardwell.

In January 2024 Revealed released “Evolution”, which the label describes as a blend of trance, big room and techno, with cosmic synth lines, robotic vocal samples and a dark, industrial mood.

Festivals and the Top 100

On the road, Cuebrick works the German festival circuit — Nature One, Mayday, Ruhr in Love, Parookaville, World Club Dome — and has played Creamfields, Ultra Music Festival and Electric Love. Club dates have taken him to Bootshaus, Wave in Taipei, Warp in Shinjuku and Academy in Los Angeles, and he has shared bills with Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Armin van Buuren.

He entered the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll in 2022, then placed 93rd in 2023 and 89th in 2024.

In the mix

Cuebrick’s records are built for festival fields: short breakdowns, heavy drops and hooks that carry to the back of the crowd. For more from the same mainstage world, read about Martin Garrix and Timmy Trumpet.
